قال الشيخ ابن عثيمين رحمه الله: إذا كَثُرت الشُّكوك مع الإِنسان ، حتى صار لا يفعل فِعْلاً إلا شَكَّ فيه : إنْ توضأ شَكَّ ، وإنْ صَلَّى شَكَّ ، وإن صام شَكَّ ، فهذا أيضاً لا عِبْرَة به ؛ لأن هذا مرض وعِلَّة ، والكلام مع الإِنسان الصَّحيح السَّليم مِن المرض ، والإِنسان الشكّاك هذا يعتبر ذهنه غير مستقر ، فلا عِبْرَة به . قال الشيخ ابن عثيمين رحمه الله : « من صلاح الصلاة أن تطمئن في القيام والقعود والركوع والسجود، فمن نقر صلاته ولم يطمئن فيها فلا صلاة له ولو صلى مئة مرة حتى يطمئن فيها». [الضياء اللامع (ج 2 ص 152) ].
