رسول خدا در روز غدیر خطاب به مردم فرمودند : به راستی که شیطان آدم را با "حسد" از بهشت راند مبادا شما به "علی" حسادت ورزید که در اینصورت "اعمالتان باطل" و "گامهایتان لغزان" خواهد شد آدم به خاطر یک اشتباه به زمین هبوط کرد حال آنکه برگزیده ی خداوند عزو جل بود پس چگونه خواهید بود که شما ، شمائید و دشمنان خدا از میان شمایند .
