روى الأئمة الستة إلا النسائي عن أبي بكرة رضي الله عنه: أن النبي صلّى الله عليه وسلم كان إذا أتاه أمر يسره، أو بشر به، خرَّ ساجدًا
قَالَ الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ: رَأَيْتُ هِشَامَ بْنَ حَسَّانَ إِذَا ذُكِرَتِ الْجَنَّةُ أَوِ النَّبِيُّ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ، بَكَى حَتَّى تَسِيلَ دُمُوعُهُ. •الرقة والبكاء لابن أبي الدنيا

عن قيس بن أبي حازم رضي الله عنه: «رأيتُ يدَ طلحةَ شَلَّاءَ وَقَى بها رسولَ اللهِ ﷺ يومَ أُحدٍ.» رواه البخاري «أصيبت إصبع طلحة البنصر من اليسرى من مفصلها الأسفل فشلّت، ترس بها على النبي ﷺ.» كان أبو بكر إذا ذكر يوم أحد قال : ذلك اليوم كله لطلحة فتح الباري
