تمر عليك أيام وشهور وسنوات وأنت في صحة وعافية ورخاء وهدوء ومستمر على الذنوب والمعاصي وبعيد عن الله. فيحصل لك ابتلاء شديد يجعلك ترجع إلى الله وتتوب وتستغفر وتدعو وتبكي وتقوم الليل. هذه رحمة عظيمة من الله. لو أن الله تركك على الطريق الأول لربما تعيش طوال حياتك وأنت غارق في الذنوب. د. باسل العنزي

في الابتلاءات زوايا متعددة ينبغي أن تنظر إليها كي ينشرح صدرك ويهدأ بالك ويطمئن قلبك وتستريح من كثرة التفكير: أولاً: هذا الابتلاء الذي تعاني منه هو شيء كتبه الله عليك ولا بد أن يحصل لك، والله غالب على أمره ولا يستطيع أحد أن يرد قضاءه. ثانياً: استشعر وتذكر أن هذا الابتلاء فيه خير عظيم، قد لا تعرف أنت هذا الخير، لكنك متأكد من ذلك لأن الله أرحم بك من نفسك، قد يكون هذا الابتلاء تكفيراً لذنوب أنت فعلتها ولم تستغفر منها، …

الاعتراف بالذنب وظلم النفس ، من أعظم أسباب إجابة الدعاء ، وهذا ظاهر في دعوات الأنبياء ! فآدم :" ربنا ظلمنا أنفسنا "، وموسى :" رب إني ظلمت نفسي " ويونس : لاإله إلا أنت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين"، وأبو بكر قال للنبي ﷺ علمني دعاء أدع به في صلاتي ، فقال : قل : اللهم إني ظلمت نفسي ظلما كثيرا .

من يأوي إلى محراب الدعاء في ظلمة الليل ، كلما ضاقت به السُّبل ، وانقطعت به الحيل ، ويكثر قرع أبواب السماء في مواطن الإجابة ، فقد أُلهم مفتاح الفرج وأُنزل منازل الواثقين ، بربهم ، الراضين عنه تعالى ولو تأخر عطائهم ، فلولا ما قامَ بقلبه من عبوديـة الإخلاص لربه ، واليقين به، لما طال وقوفه متضرع عند بابه !. عايض المطيري

لا تهجر رفع اليدين بالدعاء : فمجرد رفع يديك إلى الله في كل وقت ، ولو عشرات المرات يوميًا ، هو اعترافٌ منك بالافتقار إليه ، وإظهارٌ للانكسار بين يديه . ومن صدق في ذلك ، أذاقه الله لذة القرب منه ، وأنزل على قلبه سكينةً ، لا يعرفها ، وفتح له من أبواب الفرج ، والتيسير ما لم يكن يحتسب ، وأشعره ، بمعيته ولطفه في كل خطوة من حياته !. عايض المطيري
