بيانُ الحقِّ وردُّ الباطل حقٌ واجب على جميع الأمّة.. وخاصةً مَن نصبهم الله لذلك وهم العلماء ورثة الأنبياءِ.. والباطلُ مردودٌ حتى لو قال به عالمٌ من الرّاسخين ، أو وليٌّ من الصّالحين ، فحقُّ الشّريعة وجنابُها مقدّمٌ على الخلق - مع الاعتذار والاحترام للمُجتهدين - أما أهل البدع ؛ فيجب ردُّ باطلهم مع بيان حالهم ، وخاصةً إذا كانوا مِن الدّاعين لبدعهم. وقد تجلّى هذا المنهج في كتب شيخ الإسلام ورسائله وفتاويه.
