في #الهند وللحد من عملية تبخر المياه المتدفقة عبر قناة نارمادا بسبب شدة حرارة الشمس ، تم تنفيذ مشروع لتغطية القناة ب #ألواح_شمسية.. هذه الفكرة أدت إلى أن في طول كل كيلومتر من القناة سيتم توفير9000م٣من المياه سنويًا بالإضافة إلى إنتاج 1.6 جيجاوات الساعة من الطاقة الكهربائية.
