بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم الابتلاء في الحياة على نوعين: الأول: ابتلاءٌ ردعٌ وزجر، يكون تحذيرًا للإنسان من خطاياه وتقصيره، فكأنه جرس إنذار يُوقِظه من غفلته. والثاني: ابتلاءٌ تكريمٌ واصطفاء، وهو لرفع منزلة العبد عند الله سبحانه، وليزداد قربًا منه وتَقرُّبًا.
