به نظرم ضربه هایی که لازم بود به تلقی رایج از عقل سلیم بزنمو زدم. دیگه بعد این فکر نمیکنم فعالیتم توی کانال ضروری باشه. حداقل فعلا. چیزیو پاک نمیکنم. ولی ادامه هم نمیدم.

کلارک توی این کتاب #ارزش_بخش تلقی رایج ما از ادراکاتمون رو زیر سوال میبره. اینجوری نیست که ما احساس درد میکنیم چون مثلا میخ توی پامون رفته و یه پدیده مرموزی به اسم درد کشیدن وجود داره. تجربهی ما اگه خود پردازش نباشه عمیقا تحت تاثیر پردازشه. هرچند کلارک یکم محافظه کاره و تببینش از آگاهی و ذهن به اندازهی دنت واقع بینانه نیست ولی تا حد خیلی زیادی ادامه دهندهی راه دنته و این کتابش برای رهایی از #شهوت_راز عالیه. مخص…

قبلا از پینکر دو تا کتاب #ارزش_بخش معرفی کرده بودم. خب، اینم سومیش. برخلاف چیزی که به نظر میرسه خشونت در طول زمان کاهش پیدا کرده. حالا پینکر توی این کتاب اولا این ادعا رو با آمار های مختلف ثابت میکنه، در ادامه دلایلشو تبیین میکنه، بعد خطر هایی که ممکنه باعث شن این روند از بین بره رو بررسی میکنه و یسری ایده برای تسریعش میده. این کتاب یک نمونهی بینقص از مطالعات میان رشته ایه. پینکر به خوبی کانت و هابز و نوربرت…

این کتاب هم #ارزش_بخش عه. هرچند به اندازهی بقیهی ارزشبخش ها به علم تکیه نکرده و انسجام نداره اما مثال های خوبی داره و مثال هاش بهمون توی شیفت پارادایم کمک میکنن. من ایدهی #نیم_بررسی رو از این کتاب گرفتم. میزان خطرناک بودنشو هم میتونین با همین مثال ها متوجه شید. اگه بخواید یک حوزه نام ببرین که نیم بررسی غیرممکنه توش وجود داشته باشه چیه؟ فکر میکنم همتون موافق باشین که برف روبی یک مثال خوبه. ولی این کتاب توضیح می…

به فوکو گفتم که سخنرانی ات در دانشگاه برکلی مانند سخنرانی های خودم بسیار روشن بود ولی چرا کتاب هایت را این قدر بد و مبهم مینویسی؟ او پاسخ داد اگر مانند تو ساده و روشن بنویسم، اهالی پاریس نوشته هایم را بچهگانه و سطحی میشمرند. باید ده درصد از نوشته هایم غیرقابل فهم و درک ناشدنی باشد تا بتوانم به عنوان یک اندیشمند ژرف اندیش در آنجا مطرح شوم. جان سرل
