【當年今日｜反修例回顧】2019年8月1日：段崇智與學生會面 金融界中環快閃集會 https://bit.ly/3WJEuDb 2019年8月1日，中大校長段崇智與學生會面，被追問對成立獨立調查委員會及警方濫暴等的看法。時任中大學生會會長蘇浚鋒在會後批評，段崇智的回應是「不斷帶同學遊花園」。 晚上，逾千名金融從業員在中環遮打花園快閃集會，高叫「香港人，加油！」、「罷工！」等口號。有參加者接受訪問，稱金融業雖一直被視為不敢發聲的一群，但覺得「如果再唔為香港發聲，就會太遲」。 警方當晚亦於火炭搜查一個工廈單位，發現行山杖、煙霧餅、白汽油等物品。7男1女當晚被捕，其中4名男子事隔逾兩年後，被控管有攻擊性武器、管有爆炸品等罪。4人認罪，判囚16個月至38個月。
