میثم یک بَرده بود. بردهای که به دست امیرالمومنین آزاد شده بود. مردم میدیدند که وقتی امیرالمومنین وارد بازار میشد از همهی حجره های بزرگ عبور میکرد و به دکان کوچک میثم وارد میشد و کنار او مینشست. میگویند: حتی روزی حضرت میثم تمار را به دنبال کاری فرستاد و خودش به جای او به خرما فروختن مشغول شد... ا 📚 مناقب ، ج۲ ، ص۳۲۹
