در تراشه‌های سریال FRAM، کافی است داده از طریق رابط SPI یا I²C ارسال شود. به محض پایان انتقال، اطلاعات در حافظه ذخیره شده است و برخلاف EEPROM نیازی به انتظار چند میلی‌ثانیه‌ای برای تکمیل عملیات نوشتن وجود ندارد. البته باید توجه داشت که سرعت نهایی سیستم معمولاً توسط رابط ارتباطی (SPI یا I²C) محدود می‌شود، نه هسته حافظه FRAM. ۳- دوام فوق‌العاده در نوشتن یکی از مهم‌ترین مزایای FRAM، تعداد بسیار زیاد سیکل‌های نوشتن است
