Механическое загрязнение воды обусловлено поражением в неё нерастворимых веществ или примесей. Они могут быть разного размера, от микрочастиц пластика до достаточно крупных отходов. Например, в Мировом океане уже существуют огромные участки, буквально усеянные мусором. Эти пятна настолько велики, что видны даже с орбиты. Уровень загрязнения этого типа традиционно выше в прибрежных зонах😔🌊🚯
