درود آزیترومایسین آنتی بیوتیک خط اول درمان در سن زیر ۶ ماه و بعد از ۴ سالگی می باشدو بهتر است در صورت وجود نشانه های خاصی شروع شود و تمام عفونتها به آن پاسخ نمی دهند. مصرع آن روزی یک بار و دوره معمول آن ۵ روز است. بیشتر باید برای عفونتهای تنفسي در کودکان استفاده شود البته در بعضی موارد اسهال خونی و عفونت ادراری نیز کاربرد دارد.لطفا در حین مصرف به تغییر رنگ دارو توجه بشود.

درود پنیسیلین داروی موثر بر بسیاری از عفونت های مهم می باشد . بطور خاص در درمان گلودرد استرپتوکوکی در اطفال استفاده می شود ولی داروی مناسبی در عفونت دندانی نیز می باشد. تزریق عضلانی دردناکی دارد ولي حتمی این شیوه مصرف لازم نیست ، دوره خوراکی ده روزه بسیار کارسازتر می باشد. نکات: ۱.از داروهای بی حسی در حین تزریق استفاده نشود ۲.تست قبل تزریق در کودکان زیر ۱۲ سال ضرورت ندارد مگر به صلاحدید پزشک معالج
