Ваш горе-мастер по пошиву штор доделала второе окно. Шторная лента закончилась чётко на краю последней шторы. До этого я щедро делала подгибы, а оказалось, что чуть ли не испортила всё. Но удача оказалась всё же на моей стороне. Ещё и катушка ниток закончилась, а я ими только эти шторы и шила. Благо, что дома была ещё одна такого же цвета. Что-то с середины сентября очень активировались насекомые, стали чаще залетать в дом. Божьи коровки, вон, атаковали окна. Ежедневно выгоняю по 3-4 осы из дома. Не представляю откуда они залетают даже тогда, когда все окна закрыты. Пришлось купить электрическую мухобойку. Кстати, хоть по заявке производителя она обещает убивать мух и ос, но в итоге просто парализует на время. Потом они спокойно летают.

Наконец-то я заказала оставшиеся ручки для тумбы и они пришли. Теперь все в одном стиле. Мне кажется, что так тумба смотрится гораздо интереснее даже если бы была во "взрослой" части дома, а не детской.

Первая парочка булочек-малышек готова. Я не смогла найти лезвие, чтобы сделать красивые надрезы, а хлеб в итоге вообще решил не раскрываться. Мякиш же получился идеальным. Считаю, что дебют можно считать успешным и в следующий раз делать порцию больше.

Ну что, ребята и девчата. Ставим ставки. Хлеб я не пекла уже больше 2х лет. А из полбы (тем более на полбяной закваске) вообще ни разу. Плюс по рецепту Эрика Кайзера (автора книги на фото) нужно добавить свежие прессованные дрожжи, которых у меня дома никогда не было. Заменила на сухие. Получится хлеб-сюрприз. Если получится вообще, а я снова не уйду опять в бесконечный отпуск от хлебопечения.

Какого черного красавца купила детям в санузел. Приглашает к чистке зубов. Там есть серия этих туалетных котиков, но с щёткой мне больше всего запал в душу. Единственное, не ожидала, что он будет настолько маленьким.

Хроники полбяной закваски. В пятницу должна была её подкормить. Понюхала, а она пахла очень неприятно. Оставила ещё на сутки. Вчера вечером перекормила 15г закваски, 30г воды, 40г муки. Сегодня утром уже вон как выросла. Появляются первые сладкие нотки. Сейчас ещё буду кормить. Печь на ней пока рано

Решила перестать постоянно откладывать на следующий понедельник и наконец снова завести закваску, чтобы печь хлеб. Достала мельницу и обнаружила, что рожь у меня закончилась. Осталась только полба. Полбяную закваску я никогда раньше не вела. Говорят, что по характеру и качеству она отличается от ржаной и пшеничной. Кто-то пробовал? Я думаю, что начну эксперимент.
