На Львівщині вже кілька тижнів рятувальники гасять пожежі на торфовищах поблизу села Зелів Яворівського району та села Ситихів Львівського району. У ДСНС пояснюють, що такі займання є одними з найскладніших, адже торф тліє під землею і вогонь може поширюватися на значні відстані. У Львові жителів, які 4 серпня контактували із пораненим котом в районі перехрестя вулиць В. Великого та Тролейбусної, просять звернутися до лікаря. У тварини лабораторно підтвердили сказ. На Львівщині Стрийська міська рада заявила про скасування зупинок низки пасажирських поїздів на станції Стрий та закликала «Укрзалізницю» переглянути це рішення. В «Укрзалізниці» кажуть, що за наявного рівня транспортного забезпечення по станції Стрий не розглядають можливості додаткових зупинок потягів на цій станції, а скасування торкнулося лише двох пар поїздів. Електропостачання вже для понад 34 тисяч абонентів у Львові. Без світла залишаються 37 тисяч абонентів. Це приблизно 10% від усіх споживачів міста. Про це повідомив начальник ОВА Козицький.
