Штош, обещанные белые и пушистые дети и их родители! В июле птенцы кобчиков (Falco vespertinus) наконец-то доросли до размера, подходящего для кольцевания. Мы поставили для них нестбоксы, но большинство кобчиков предпочло гнездиться в грачиных гнёздах и, к сожалению, были для нас недоступны — слишком высоко. Но несколько гнездовий всё же оказались достижимы, и птенцы были из них извлечены и окольцованы, пока их мамы…
Сегодня у канала день рождения — три года с первого поста! За это время он успел несколько изменить формат и обзавестись младшим братом, а я успела с головой уйти в полевую работу и сейчас торчу почти безвылазно в поле на кольцевании сизоворонят, совят, пустельжат и кобч… гм… птенцов кобчиков, в общем. Но кроме птиц и штормчейзинга у меня есть ещё одно увлечение — хорошие вина, и мы поймали витавшую в воздухе идею …

В субботу кольцевали сизоворонок и ставили новые нестбоксы, но об этом — чуть позже, а сейчас — покажу сычат =) Домовые сычи (Athene noctua), как многие из вас, наверное, уже помнят, частенько гнездятся или даже просто ночуют в нестбоксах для сизоворонок. Вот и в этот раз мы обнаружили два выводка. Первый в полном составе был ещё маловат для кольцевания, поэтому его просто аккуратно поддержали и сфоткали, а окольцев…
С подёнками (Palingenia longicauda) в этом году мне повезло меньше, чем в прошлом — их было совсем немного, и летали они не так активно. Говорят, выше по течению от Канижи лёт был пободрее, но добраться туда мы не успели, так что пришлось довольствоваться малым. Но даже так это всё равно красиво, особенно в вечернем мягком свете, делающем воды Тисы похожими на жидкий металл — полюбуйтесь и вы 💚
