A simple yet fitting poem at the local gallery from one of the kind inmates I supervise. The contractions make it grainy like sand and pebbles. This year, I had to supervise an inmate at the hospital who got diagnosed with late stage cancer as I was present. I supervised him for weeks as he lost his hair and became infirm and pale throughout the chemo process. ...
