1 марта возобновилась работа ЦЕИ РАН в гробнице Чаи (ТТ 23) в некрополе западного берега Фив (Шейх Абд эль-Курна).
Большая и богато декорированная гробница принадлежала высокопоставленному царедворцу времени правления фараона Мернептаха (13 в. до н.э.).

Последние дни прошлой недели были довольно напряженными — мы завершали фиксацию найденных объектов, разбирали водопровод и занимались консервацией памятников, изучение которых будет продолжено в следующем сезоне.
