"جُهدُكَ اليوم، سواءً في عملِكَ، أو في تهذيبِ نفسِك، أو في طلبِكَ للعِلْم الذي تحتاجه، سيُصبح غدًا ذكرىٰ جميلة لإنسانٍ مُمتن وراضٍ، أما تسويفُكَ، وفتور عزيمتِك، وانقيادك لرتابة الأيّام، سيُخلّف غدًا شعورًا بالنّدم لإنسانٍ أقلّ حظًا وأشد ألمًا، وروح مثقلة بالخيبات؛ فاجتهد اليوم لصُنعِ غدٍ يَليقُ بك" .
