Сложно вылезти из ежегодного летнего сплина, когда хочется заниматься даже работой (ахаха), но не смотреть птиц. Я уже несколько недель в Петербурге, но так и не подвела итоги поездки в Беларусь. Целью не были птицы, и за несколько прогулок в полях и по смешанному лесу я насобирала скромные 70 видов. Когда я узнала, что в Ленинградской области помимо обыкновенного ежа встречается ещё и южный ёж (roumanicus), жить стало немножко сложнее :) Оказалось, что все мои встреченные на территории региона ежи являются именно южными, либо какие-то фото не позволяют определить особь до вида. Когда-то в белорусском Полесье болотных черепах было много. Но в середине прошлого века болота начали массово осушать под сельскохозяйственные поля, и численность этих животных стала быстро сокращаться. Как и во многих регионах ЕЧР, у нас здесь на юге Беларуси тоже несколько дней бушевала непогода. Когда ветер стих, выбралась в поля посмотреть, что там изменилось. Выход получился более чем удачным. В Минске купила две классные книжки. «Атлас млекопитающих Беларуси» и «Земноводные и пресмыкающиеся Беларуси». Главная «большая вода» в нашей местности — это маленькое водохранилище площадью примерно 70 х 100 метров. Берега давно заросли камышом и рогозом, и место облюбовали дроздовидные камышевки.
