🔥🥛Senate passes the Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act to get full-fat milk back in schools!!
Now the bill must be conferenced with the House version. Senate version allows for plant-based milks if student's parent or MD requests
Whole milk is a win for children 👏👏

Do people realize how sinister this is?
The suggestion here is to not just give up your car or your air travel to save the planet.
You're being asked to give up your health.
Seed oils oxidize and drive inflammation in the body. But human health is evidently not all that valuable to the Times, which put a climate reporter on this story (FYI: there are other, better ways to preserve the environment other than risking p…

New study: In menopausal women, hyperinsulinemia and other markers of metabolic syndrome are strongly associated with abnormal uterine bleeding. Preliminary research.
Metabolic syndrome is driven by a diet high in sugars and starches, implying that this condition could potentially be reversed by reducing consumption of those foods.
(I don't see that the study is online yet)

LinkedIn flagged my post on ultra-processed meat not causing cancer as "misinformation." Every factual statement in that piece is documented and true.

Processed meats do not cause colorectal cancer. The WHO report on this was effectively rigged and did not represent the science. @foundmyfitness
I worry that "ultra-processed foods" will be used to try to eliminate deli meats, which maybe not ideal are still the most affordable source of protein for most Americans. This would be a big mistake.

We never see similar reporting on studies promoting plant-based foods. Because the media only calls out it out for meat. While giving a pass to Nestle, Pepsi, Unilever, etc.
Preferred narrative, bias...call it what you want. But it's been going on for decades and has done much to make us believe that red meat science alone is corrupt…
