Everything is coming together for vDOT. Polkadot's 2-day unbonding is now live, giving vDOT a faster redemption cycle and no slashing. Bifrost passed a new proposal takes vDOT to zero fees: 0% commission and 0% unstaking fee, so holders keep 100% of the staking yield. Next up: A new vDOT incentive campaign is coming soon.

A major upgrade for vDOT is on the way. Polkadot staking rewards are evolving. Ref#1909 introduces DAP reform, allocating 22.6% for the validator self-stake incentive, alongside a 0% validator commission model. Bifrost is introducing a new protection layer for cross-chain assets. In the event of abnormal large-scale inflows, assets can be temporarily held before becoming fully transferable.
