Волжанка двудомная Кружевной гигант. Огромный ажурный куст из перистых листьев и метельчатых соцветий цвета слоновой кости, которые распускаются в начале лета. Не перегружает пространство, а наоборот — наполняет его лёгкостью и объёмом. Используйте как воздушный фон для гейхер, медуниц или астильб, а можно и как самостоятельный акцент в тенистом уголке. Создаёт эффект дымки, за которой хочется спрятаться.

Роджерсия конскокаштанолистная Настоящая скульптура. Её листья очень похожи на каштановые, только в разы крупнее. Цветёт пушистыми кремово-розовыми метёлками, которые даже после увядания выглядят структурно и декоративно. Роджерсия — королева тенистого уголка. Листва меняет окраску от бронзовой весной до медной осенью, придавая саду экзотический, почти доисторический вид.

Бузульник зубчатый Классический тенистый гигант. Его огромные округлые листья (часто с пурпурной изнанкой) уже сами по себе событие, а во второй половине лета над ними поднимаются ярко-жёлтые свечи соцветий. Коровяк гибридный Вертикальная «свеча» с опушёнными листьями и колосьями жёлтого, розового или белого цвета. Отличный выбор для сухих солнечных склонов и гравийных садов. Нюанс: после цветения даёт самосев.

Вейник остроцветковый «Карл Форстер» Стройные, неразваливающиеся колонны до 2 м. Чёткая вертикаль, шуршит на ветру и стоит всю зиму. Можно использовать как живую изгородь или для создания ритма в композиции. Беспроблемный и противостоит сорнякам.
