【1830】立法會議員許智峯早前就去年11月11日交通警員於西灣河以實彈擊中示威者腹部一事提出私人檢控，其律師團隊表示昨日接獲東區裁判法院通知，法庭已向該名警員發出傳票，指其涉「意圖造成身體嚴重傷害而射擊」、「罔顧他人安全的情況下發射彈藥」及「處理槍械而其方式相當可能傷害或危害他人的安全」三罪，案件將於8月31日在西九龍裁判法院開審。 許智峯表示，他會按法庭指示，於未來兩星期將相關證據交予律政司。他又指，若律政司介入撤銷訴訟，他將提出司法覆核。
【2300】教育局於回覆立法會議員書面質詢時指，過去一年反修例運動的示威活動中，約2000名專上院校學生、1600名未成年人士、10名專上院校教職員及100名中小學教職員被捕。 楊潤雄表示，如註冊教師被起訴，無論是否被定罪，教育局都會按一貫機制審視教師有否涉及失德行為，並檢視其註冊資格；若被捕的教師沒有被起訴，但教育局接獲有關其專業操守的投訴或資料，亦會按既有機制處理。他指教育局正跟進部份案件，暫無被取消註冊資格的個案。

【1400】就去年7月1日立法會大樓的反修例示威，多人早前被控以「進入或逗留在會議廳範圍」，其中兩名被告港大學生會前會長孫曉嵐及民間遊行團隊成員劉頴匡今日於Facebook表示，接獲律師通知，將被改控暴動罪。案件明天將於東區裁判法院再訊，據《蘋果》報道，控方亦會申請修改同案部分其他被告的罪名至暴動。
