هو جزء من كتاب إعلام الموقعين، خرج باسم كتاب فتاوى إمام المفتين، وفتاوى رسول الله ﷺ يقول ابن القيم عن هذه الفتاوى: " فلله ما أجل هذه الفتاوى .. وما أحلاها، وما أنفعها .. وما أجمعها لكل خير .. فوالله لو أن الناس صرفوا همهم إليها لأغنتهم عن فتاوى فلان وفلان .. واله المستعان. "

كنت أحسب أن عمر الأشقر قد اقتصر تميّزه على كتب العقيدة، وأن البروز في علم الأصول هو لأخيه محمد الأشقر صاحب الواضح وأفعال الرسول ﷺ، غير أن هذا الكتاب كشف لي عن الثراء الأصولي للأشقر عمر، إلى جانب ما يظهر في تخريجاته الدقيقة في بقية مؤلفاته
