Our Manchester Branch was out today in Manchester City Centre supported by NW Region. Just tuning in to the Manchester Mayoral Election Results. End results not dissimilar from Makerfield when it comes to Labour and the 'populist right'. This is the limitation of populism - it can never convince peope who don't wake up and WANT to believe it, thus it can never get beyond a certain ceiling. The longer people are exposed to populist parties, the less they support them.
