余裕 日语里有一个相对高频的词汇——「余裕」。 余裕是时间和精力上的富余，人还没有被压到极限的状态。 从事后回忆，有余裕的状态，经常要比拼尽全力的状态在结果上更好。如果没有上大学时的余裕，我就不会阅读非必要的书籍和做自媒体；如果没有学习外语时的余裕，我就不会研究 Anki 等高效的学习方法……这些「非必要」的事情对我来说要比「不得不做」的事情更有价值。 紧迫的事情是被逼着做的。拼尽全力的时候，也容易是放弃思考的时候，用「没时间」来让「放弃思考」合理化。 而余裕时做的「非必要」的事情含有我的内在动力。有余裕的我可以审视自己正在做的事情，然后做出一些方向上的优化。让短期结果最优的选择，很少是让长期结果最优的。 注：本文受到 Neel Nanda 的文章 On Slack - Having room to be excited 启发。

关于「挑食」的思考 小的时候，经常被爸妈教育不要挑食，据说是营养上的考虑。 成年后，由于在不同国家和地区的旅行经历，我切身地感受到了巨大的饮食差异。不同地区的人们的饮食偏好和营养结构是截然不同的，不习惯某个地区的饮食是很寻常的事情。 也就是说，「挑食」这个词的意思得看文化背景，并非客观的营养判断。在喜欢摄入大量糖类的中日文化中，我这样的倾向减少糖类摄入的人是挑食的；在喜欢生食的日本文化中，大量的不想吃生食的中国人是挑食的。 「挑食」一词的问题在于，它建立在「当下文化的饮食就是理想的膳食结构」的错误前提之下。所以我觉得，相比于指责一个人挑食，更重要的是看饮食偏离理想膳食结构的程度吧。 还有一个角度是话语权，大人通常直接选择自己想去的餐馆和想吃的食物，所以自然没有挑食问题，只能是被迫进食的小孩子被认为是挑食。
