متروپل آبادان به یکباره فرونریخت. حاصل و نتیجه سال ها مدیریت پراکنده و نامنسجم و بخشی نگر شهر آبادان بود که فساد و بی کفایتی مدیریتی را بر ساختار مدیریتی شهر حاکم کرد و توجهی به عواقب منفی آن نشده بود. در شماره های ۲ و ۳ و ۵ مجله آبادان نامه در این رابطه هشدار داده بودیم که شنیده نشد. این مقالات را در ذیل بازنشر می شود
