Гачитли — маленькое село на отвесной скале. Чамалинцы нередко описывают Гачитли двумя образными выражениями: «АмахулI унол гьа⁻ᵸ» — «аул с ослиную голову» и «Анкухъ геталлакIас» — «висящее на крючке».
