兩區變三人區議會 未符足夠人數補選主席或未能開會 超過250名民主派區議員請辭及離任，其中中西區及黃大仙區分別只剩下3名區議員，預料未有足夠法定人數補選主席。對於這些「三人區議會」的運作問題，民政事務總署表示，如果相關區議會未有足夠人數選舉區議會主席，署方會再考慮如何處理運作問題。根據《區議會條例》，區議會正副主席如果懸空，須於懸空後首次會議互選，同時規定要有3名不同議員提名及附議，不可自我提名，即至少需要4名區議員，才可完成補選主席程序，只餘3名區議員的中西區及黃大仙區議會，有機會未能補選主席及召開會議。自由黨中西區區議員楊哲安認為即使區議會無法開會，區議員仍可處理其他民生事務，期望政府與區議會合作解決，否則沒有主席召開會議，有如浪費公帑，並不理想，又擔心政府減少了解民意的渠道。本台曾經向留任的中西區區議會副主席楊浩然查詢，但他未有回覆。黃大仙區議會同樣餘下3名區議員，其中1名留任的區議員莫灝哲表示，區議員也是不少諮詢委員會…
