أكملت بيني عامها الأول في متجر دالوجوت للأحلام. أصبحت متمرسة في عملها بالمتجر، حيث تأتي كل صباح لتسجيل المنتجات الناقصة، وترتيب صناديق الأحلام في المخزن، وتعبئة الزجاجات التي تحتوي على ثمن الأحلام لتسهيل إيداعها في البنك لاحقًا، والاعتناء بموازين الجفون وغيرها. كانت بيني سعيدة بعملها في المتجر، لكن هناك شيء يقلقها؛ فقد توقف العديد من الزبائن الدائمين عن زيارة المتجر.
