به گزارش ESPN بعضی از اعضای مدیریتی منچستر یونایتد میخواستند فن خال بعد از شکست جلوی نورویچ استعفا دهد یا اخراج شود اما به نظر میرسد قبل از بازی با نورویچ اولتیماتومی به او دادند که باید از 3 بازی آینده حداقل 2 برد به دست آورد. ضمنا اعضای هیئت مدیره به دلیل روابط خوب با فن خال و اینکه این آخرین شغل او در فوتبال خواهد بود ترجیح میدهند از اتفاقات تلخ دوری کنند. @Manchester_United
