观察：媒体炒作“私聊传播淫秽物品明年才违法” 近日，有媒体称，在中国大陆“明年 1 月 1 日起，向好友发淫秽信息违法”。然而，媒体提及的“新加条款”在 2006 年就已存在。 媒体通过渲染紧张情绪，使受众误以为此前合法行为在未来将被首次定罪。 追溯到 2006 年生效的版本，《治安管理处罚法》早已写入“利用计算机信息网络、电话以及其他通讯工具传播淫秽信息”，此句新版只是删去了“计算机”限定词。 然而，一众媒体为博取流量竞相效仿取相似标题发文，鲜有媒体愿认真核实。
