القواعد التي في «المنهج المنتخب» هي دون القواعد الكلية الكبرى المتفق عليها، ولا تنفع إلا من درس الفقه ومرَّ عليه كاملًا مع هضمه؛ فتضبط لك الفقه، وتعرّفك أسباب الخلاف. والحقيقة أن كثيرًا من الفروع الغامضة عند المالكية وجدتُ أن اطلاعي على القواعد سهّل عليَّ جدًا فهمها، واتضحت لي الصورة.
من أعظم الفوائد التى تستفيدها من دروس الإمام ربيع رحمه الله هى إحياء الغيرة على دين الإسلام والمنهج و شغل القلب بالدفاع عنه والحذر من مكايد الأعداد وهذه قل أن تجدها في الزمان ،وأيضا يربى الطلاب على حب الحق وتعظيمه والحذر من الغلو ، فدروسه لطلاب العلم كالتطعيمات التى تحمى من الأمراض الفكرية والله أعلم.
