إلى متى ستهجر القرآن، إلى متى ستؤجل وردك ؟ العُمرُ يمضي والأيامُ تُطوى .. والآخِرةُ تُقبِل ! مصحفك هو قائدك، هو زادك في الطّريق هو الرفيق الذي لا يفارقك إلاَّ إذا فارقته، فأحسن صُحبته كي يُحسن صحبتك، لا يكفي أن تقرأه بل عِش معه، تدبّر آياتِه واستشعر أن الله يكلمك به!

لايزال المؤمن يكابد قلبه في معاهدة ورده من القرآن مع بداية شهر رمضان ويخصص له جزءًا من يومه وليلته حتى يجد فيه سلواه وحياةً لقلبه فتشتدّ عزيمته بكثرة الاقبال عليه. قال الإمام ابن حجر: "الذي يداوم على تلاوة القرآن يذل له لسانه، وتسهل عليه قراءته فإذا هجره ثقلت عليه القراءة وشقَّت".
