أفتحُ البابَ، يأتي هواءٌ يزورُ الرسومَ التي تتدلَّى ويُداعبُ أطرافَها. بَغتةً، تتثاءَبُ، يمضي حانيًا ظهرَهُ. لَمْ يكن حبُّنا هنالِكَ، أطيافُهُ حملَتْ كلَّ ما رَسَمَتْهُ في السَّريرِ، وفوقَ الوسائِدِ، في قبضةِ البابِ، في قُفلِهِ وغابتْ. أتَخيَّلُ؟ لكنْ كلُّ هذا تؤكِّده غيمةٌ – غيمةٌ تعبُرُ الآنَ، غابتْ. لا هواءٌ يزورُ، ولا مَنْ يقولُ لتِلكَ الرسومْ كيفَ تُروَى أساطيرُنا كيفَ يُكتَبُ تاريخُ هذي الغيومْ. أدونيس.

قلت: أسهرُ حتىٰ الصباح لأكتبَ، لكن ما أقول؟ انكببتُ أخطُّ وأمحو وأبدأ. لا شيء. كيف تغيرتُ؟ أنَّى، وكيف توارى كلُّ ما كان عندي؟ نِمْتُ – كلا، رمى النومُ أثقالَهُ فوق رأسي. في الصباح، شعرتُ كأني شُطِرْتُ، وأصبحتُ غيريَ، شخصًا بعيدًا يسيرُ إلىٰ ذاته البعيدةْ كاتبًا هذه القصيدةْ. أدونيس.

بعد أن شربتْنا مفاتنُ أعضائنا وشَرِبْنا الشموسَ، دياجيرَها وقناديلَها، لنقلْ: إننا نَضَجْنا مثلَ عنقود كَرْمٍ. يعشقُ الكرمُ بعدَ العلوِّ الهبوطْ حيث ينحلُّ، يهدأُ في الدَّنِّ، ينساب في الجسد الآدميِّ، ويعلو من جديد إلىٰ ربِّه. نضَجَ الحبُّ فينا نضجْنا، فسقوطًا سقوطًا، يا عناقيدَ أيامنا ما أحرَّ النضوج، وما أكرم السقوطْ. أدونيس.
