Good news everyone! The matrix.lrn.fm server has been fully updated to the latest OS release and matrix synapse release. The admin got to updating things sooner than initially anticipated. We still haven't migrated to new hardware, but for the moment I think we are "good enough". This was a major undertaking due to various complications. Our social.freetalklive.com Mastodon instance is back up. There was unfortunately some amount of downtime recently due to a combination of issues and management and administration being a bit distributed and certain people being away on travel. Thanks for being patient while we worked on resolving the issue. The server is now back and operational again.
