I'm led to believe that as well as Common Law, the people of the Commonwealth nations can also use Article 61 of Magna Carta as all statutes, acts and governments were made null and void when A61 was invoked in March 2001. It involves swearing an oath to the Constituion via the Barons. Indeed we are lawfully obliged to declare ourselves to be in lawfull dissent/rebellion.
The Magna Carta is the founding document of individual liberty, the rule of law, and parliamentary democracy.
