أصبح الناس يجاهرون بمعاصيهم دون حياء، ويرددون: "عيشوا حياتكم فالعمر مرة، وآخرتها موت". لكنهم نسوا أن هذه "المرة" قد تجرهم إلى عذاب أبدي، فالعمر مرة نعم، لكن جهنم دهر لا ينقضي وليست "آخرتها موت" كما يظنون بل الموت هو البداية، وأما النهاية فإما نعيم دائم، أو عذاب لا يُطاق، فاستقم كما أمرك الله سبحانه ، لا كما تشتهي نفسك، فالحياة قصيرة، والآخرة هي الباقية بإذن الله تعالى .
