کشف بسیار جذاب دیگری که نمادی از تمدن باستانی جیرفت است، دستخط یا خط نوشته باستانی نام دارد که در حدود ۳۰ کیلومتری جیرفت کشف شده است. این خط باستانی متعلق به بیش از ۳۰۰۰ سال پیش از میلاد است که قدیمی تر از اختراع خط در منطقه بین النهرین می باشد.
