Only channels that have been scanned and measured are listed here, so the register is always smaller than Telegram. Handles the crawler has measured but not yet resolved into a full entry are listed separately and marked as such — they carry a real count, but no page. Search a handle we hold nothing for at all and we will say so plainly, and put it at the front of the look-up queue.
