The reported evacuation order has not yet been independently confirmed, but people are reportedly leaving the area. If confirmed, strikes could follow, potentially marking the first strikes in Gaza in four days.
The IDF is investigating the possibility that thieves cut through the fence in an attempt to steal a large copper cable in the area.
