Прочитанные книги за июль ✨ «Одинокий голубь» вообще рандомно оказался в моем списке для чтения, но прочитан был запойно. Такой настоящий американский вестерн, где герои пытаются сохранить человечность в суровых реалиях Дикого Запада. Могу только поругаться на немного корявый перевод, поэтому советую по возможности читать в оригинале. В общем-то, понимаю почему Стивен Кинг назвал эту книгу одной из своих любимой. Р…

Не удивляйтесь сильно, но экранизация «Одиссеи» 1997 года мне понравилась намного больше. Очень жалею, что не увидела ее в детстве, у меня были бы все шансы словить одержимость (как с «Властелином колец»). Конечно, графика хромает, но здесь ценность картины не в спецэффектах. Великолепное кино (2 серии по 90 минут)! 🙏 Теперь у меня по плану пересмотреть «Трою», и еще я загорелась перечитать сам первоисточник Из книж…

Ладно, зря я занудствала. Новый фильма Нолана «Одиссея» – пушка. Столько шума было вокруг Елены, в итоге она появилась от силы минут на 5. На протяжении 3 часов меня даже никто не взбесил (ну, только Пенелопа чуть-чуть). Античная Греция у Нолана, конечно, совсем не трушная, к примеру, герои разговаривают на современном английском, но мне это не испортило впечатление, потому что сама картинка потрясающая. Звуковое со…

Сейчас параллельно читаю две книги американских авторов: 1. «Одинокий голубь» Лэрри Макмёртри. Роман, который получил Пулитцеровскую премию в 1986 году. Впервые узнала об этой книге из инвервью Стивена Кинга, где он назвал ее своей любимой. По правде говоря, это уже претендент на лучшую книгу. Два огромных томика настоящего неромантизированного американского вестерна. Дикий запад, техасские рейнджеры, чистый кайф 2…
