توی بندر بریس با ناخدای یک لنچ آشنا شدیم و از ایشان اجازه گرفتیم تا از توی لنج دیدن کنیم. کارگران داخل لنچ سخت مشغول کار بودند و داشتند لنچ رو آماده میکردند که برن توی دریای باز بقول خودشان، برای صید ماهی. منظورشان از دریای باز همان اقیانوس هند هست که باز و بی انتهاست.

توی اسکله همه در حال جنب و جوش و کار بودند. کار کردن در این ناحیه بسیار سخت است مخصوصا توی تابستان. ما توی بهمن ماه سردترین فصل سال رفته بودیم اینجا عرقمون در امده بود. یک سگ را دیدم که میخواست از یکی از لنچ ها ماهی کش بره که کارگر لنچ فهمید و دنبالش کرد من با خنده گفتم مگه سگ ماهی هم میخوره؟ کارگر بهم خندید و گفت وقتی هیچی نباشه که بخوره ماهی هم میخوره.
