이 글이 참 많이 생각났던 2026년 7월이다(역대 코스피 월간 하락률 1위 경신). 정인모 대표님을 보며 가장 좋았던 것 중 하나는, 문화 관련 사업을 하면서도 "이걸로 돈을 못 벌면 안 된다"고 말씀하셨던 점이었다. 문화나 소비재 회사를 보면, 브랜드 감도를 높이고 완성도 높은 창작물을 만들겠다며 큰돈을 쏟곤 한다. 그런데 그렇게 쓴 돈이 회사의 자산으로 남지 못하고 그냥 비용으로 사라져, 결국 재무제표상으로는 후퇴하는 경우가 종종 있는 듯하다.
