최근 대통령이 '먹는 임신중절제' 허용에 힘을 실었습니다. 청년 남성을 겨냥한 탈모약 건강보험 적용을 주문한 게 어그러진 타이밍이라 조금 공교롭긴 하지만 바람직한 방향이라고는 할 수 있습니다. 그렇지만 의료계에서도 책임 소재 문제로 난색을 표하는 임신중절 문제에 매달릴 필요는 없다고 생각합니다. 그보다 더 적극적이고 확실한 대안이 계속 방치되어 있는 상태거든요. 바로 사후피임약입니다. 해외에선 사후피임약을 약국에서 바로 살 수 있는 일반의약품으로 분류하는 경우가 다수입니다. 도리어 꾸준히 먹어야 해 전문성 있는 처방이 필요한 피임약이 약국에서 쉽게 팔리고 있죠. 정반대인 겁니다. 이번 주간조선 칼럼에선 이런 얘길 한 번 다뤄봤습니다. https://weekly.chosun.com/news/articleView.html?idxno=531…
