Я влюблена в печатное слово Марины Степновой еще во времен «Женщин Лазаря» — поэтому без раздумий отрезала первый кусок от ее романа «Сад». Зачитываюсь, и всё в нем мне нравится. Закончила пастернаковского «Доктора Живаго» — и какой же изматывающий это был путь. При всей моей любви к его поэзии, книга, впервые треснувшая корешком еще в январе, оказалась совершенно не по моим меркам. Оставлю за скобками любой социально-политический взгляд на самого Живаго — людям в революционном огнище можно простить их инертность. Но чего я не хочу понимать (потому что понимание неизбежно влечет оправдание) …
