Feueralarm bei Kaufland in Meppen. Die automatische Brandmeldeanlage hat ausgelöst. Alle Kunden und Mitarbeiter haben das Gebäude verlassen. Die Feuerwehr ist eingetroffen und erkundet aktuell die Räumlichkeiten. UPDATE: Der Geschäftsbetrieb konnte nach 25 Minuten wieder aufgenommen werden. Die Ursache war ein „Sprinkler“. 🚁 In Sögel ist es heute Morgen zu einem Unfall gekommen. Ein 59-jähriger Mann aus Lathen wurde dabei lebensgefährlich verletzt, teilte die Polizei mit. UPDATE: Mitarbeiter von Westnetz waren schnell vor Ort. Der Strom in Meppen fließt wieder. Ursache könnten Bauarbeiten im Bereich des Stadion gewesen sein, so erste Vermutungen.

Die Wierescher Straße zwischen Wesuwe und A31 ist aktuell (bis etwa 23:30 Uhr) noch voll gesperrt. Der Fahrer eines VW Caddy kam von der Fahrbahn ab und prallte gegen einen Baum.
